How could you forget the words of Sun Tzu? "Go fuck yourself" or Operation Banana Flavored Milk?

All and all, the most glaring issue is bad force allocation.

We could've done some serious damange with that armored core we had, instead I shot a vehicle shield at an AMP station for five minutes.

i like it... its one of the only few actual bases where you can hold out againt higher numbers. which is the whole point of fortifications/bases lol, maybe positioning could be better, as in the last base the enemy has to take before link to warpgate.

Finally found joy in playing Planetside again, yesterday.

Started befor the OPs just farming a bit and had 2 really fun Prowler runs with Foibus.

Joined OPs for some Teamplay afterwards. And it was really enjoyable, However it was not what i enoy the most about Planetside. I'd wish for some more vehicle gamplay and less pointholds!

Anyhows, Props to our Officers for setting up this awsome cooperation with the rest of Cobalt TR!

Nice to hear Division, good to have you back! I agree with the vehicle-gameplay; its not fun being expected to point-hold while magriders and HE-lightnings are shelling the point!

Perhaps we should all be better to call out ideas and opportunities for vehicle gameplay, because otherwise it will often end up in an armoured column, which gets shredded, and is then abandoned?

I agree, combined arms is getting thrown so much into the fray, but we barely do it.

What if we assign 4 people to be our counter armor guys. Leader sees or hears armor rolling in and those 4 redeploy to fight it. What do you guys say?

I think it is a good idea Leon, because then we can allocate the appropriate amount of ressources to the actual threat. Perhaps we should also try and have some guys be "spawn options" guys; so that they, without orders, will think in hacking vehicle terminals and bringing up sundies? Or will we risk spending too many ressources then?

And Turai, fuck whoever complained about that; as long as one is not actively "spying" in TS, I think fourth-factioning is a good idea!

The problem with air is that we dont really have that many proficient pilots (I know i'm not!), and that it is easily counterable; and it is exactly in those situations we typically need vehicle support, IMO.

Yeah focused hellfire would work but I don't think our active members are proficient enough in air to stay alive long enough.

4 designated harasser/prowler people could definitely work though.

I think that the reduction of the combat are for times when there aren't enough players to fill the continent is a good idea in theory, but they are still not doing the most obvious fix to this specific "ghostcapping" problem.

Have 1 continent open be the default state, instead of having 2 continents being open. Seriously how fucking retarded is the decision to not have that be a thing? If there aren't enough players to fill 1 continent then why are there 2 open?

That's how it actually works on Briggs.

My guess is so they can avoid the "dead game" claims.

"Look, 2 continents open and with queue even! Upgrade now!"

No they actually have to lock the 2nd continent manually on briggs. If it'd be automatic then cobalt would go down to 1 as well around 5am and times like that when we have briggs like pop.
