I need some serious help ?

My KDR is 0.710 and that's really bad for me as I'm usually great in first person shooters , I did bump my KDR from 6 -> 0.712 but the 1 hour before I left the game session I dropped it to 0.710 , no that ain't too much from dropping by. However I felt "uncomfortable" and wasnt fun at all playing , I think I forgot something today when I usually play because my KDR was rising very past this week and the past but , today was just a flop even when I did bad I still enjoyed the gaming session , now its like so irritating playing the game and anybody got advice , cause I fell like shit when I play the game. Anybody know or think what's going on ?

Im talking about advice or Tips and Tricks for Planetside 2 , in other words.

For me this "phenomenon" occurs when i change or adapt my gameplay mentality after a week or so like that my KDr is suddenly rising again. Happened to me three times this year already, but that's probably just me. (But my KD is not THAT high though)

Well I did watch the DarkElf thing a migig about being a tried hard pleg X'D. I stopped chasing enemies and that was pretty much it Lol

Relax. You'll improve over time. Keep trying to actually place your aim on their heads.

Yeah man dont take all this kdr thing to serouios....what do you thing my kd is when i play against jim...or against a whole BAWC squad. Yeah you got it, i get knifed more often then i get kills.

And on my Tr its nothinh different, i dont even have a kdr of 1 even tho i am working on it for nearly half a year now!

Ok, you want an advice. You can get it.

If you want t learn headshots: take a mid-range weopon (TSAR-42) takr a 4x scoup and start snipping. While sniping you should take your time and always shot on the head( you should be far enough away, then you wont get)
Now when you feel realy confident reduce the range between you and the enemy until you in smg range. If you now still hit headshots you improved a lot!

In genearal: never over extend, play for you own saftey and not for the next kill, dont do stupid things, like running in jims badly placed claymores , and just play morr for safty hen for the kill!

I'm great at hitting the heads of enemies but the COF increases to rapid for me and only get 1 or 3 headshots , anybody know a weapon for Light assault that COF bloom is low ?

Well, its all about burstshooting. Give me SVA, Orion, Carve, Trac 5 or whatever wep and I will be able to have a pretty high Headshot rate.

What you should do is to get a 1x or 2x scope on each wep, i prefer 1x and learn the "Pattern" of the weapon. for example i will take SVA since im more familiar with it. Sva kicks up when you shoot and have no to little horisontal kick. so with a 1x scope i will aim at the "breast" of the enemy and the gun will kick up for HS, thats why i usually do a burst of 5 bullets for that specific wep during ADSing

T9 Carv should be abit like SVA, kicking up with abit of horisontal kick and with that gun you still aim at the breast/neck and do fastbursts of 3-4 bullets. You have smaller bursters because the horisontal kick is stronger than SVA

You can control all the guns to make HSs, with 1x and 2x zoom you will have alot easier time to control the gun but con is you will have a harder time spotting the enemy.

You have to find the recoil pattern of each wep you gonna use and compensate.

I recommend you to check MattiAce vidz about aim you will learn alot from his aim lessons.
During some seasons i can have 20-50% HS rate with over 100 kills, most of it is thanks for the foundation his vidz gave me about aim.


EDIT: for players playing at higher graphics, this game have a issue with memoryleak so ur game performance will drop after 2 hours because game will kinda run less smoother etc..

I haven't really thought of burst firing weapons as the damage per second would be lower but I forgot that you will hit with headshots, Thanks Goli I should of took that in account.

Well, thats why i said Fastburstshoot, basically releasing fire for split second, so ur dps wont be that much lower

TR have a really high RPM so at CQC you can just spray to kill but at 10m+ having a fast burstfire helps alot, much more accurate. Just try to learn how the wep works.. sometimes you dont need to burst fire, sometimes you can survive with fastburstfireing and sometimes you might need to do 2 burstshoots to hit longerranges etc, each wep works differently =)

The Trac 5 has a nasty horizontal recoil.

I'm saving for the Cougar cause its designed for those long range fights and the burst would be more effective.

They might to be overpowered, but I'll NEVER join the vanu. I'd sooner quit planetside. Really, fuck all the other factions. My loyalty goes much furhter than my desire to have a good kdr. TERRAN REPUBBLIC, FUCK YEAH!

My KDR is the worst on the Vanu normally while it's the best with the TR. Maybe it's because I like the NS weapons too much!

@Astro9 Don't worry about KDR. This website [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] is very useful as it actually tells you how quickly you are improving! You have improved 0.04% in the last 30 days more than your all time KDR. KDR isn't the only indication of a good player, HSR (Head Shot Ratio) is, as it tells you how good your aim is. Unfortunately the site which did that is now down but there we have it.

You must do 3 things to improve your KDR: Positioning, Aim and being cautious yet still aggressive. The latter is the most difficult, then aim, then positioning. I would be happy to answer anymore questions you may have!

Just one more question is , how do you deal with a big number of people by yourself , flanking isn't usually an option for me as they usually spawn the and end up shooting me in the back . I would go heavy and toss a few grenades and run and spary bulletd at them , but I only kill a few and my TR m8's just wait at the door for the VS farm and never end up pushing ,

And the VS medics undo what I just did and it was gone to waste

1. Decrease graphical setting if you're getting lag.
2. Increase FOV (field of view)
3. Try to aim for headshots, if the recoil is too hard to manage, aim at chest and let the recoil kick for the head.
4. DON'T OVEREXTEND! #1 reason why people usually get killed. It won't do to charge outside of a building like a moron only to get gunned down by 5 bads who can barely aim. Peek around the corners, only let one enemy see you at a time.
5. Make a non fixed minimap in settings, that's way you'll have heightened map awareness as you'll be able to predict enemy movements easier.
6. Turn off mouse acceleration.
7. Bind minimap size increase or decrease to mouse scroll wheel.
8. Train. Most of the guys who have positive k/d have played over a year.
